I guess I’m one of those people who still believes a single fair painting can say more than pages of words. There are fatigued days too — deadlines, never-ending searching for the right shade, eyes that refuse to focus after another late night. But then someone remains in front of my work at a student show, or a lecturer calmly remarks, “You notice the fever where others only observe grey,” and something inwards me changes back on. I’m legitimate. I still know almost nothing. But I want to learn everything — how to glance longer, sense deeper, make handsome mistakes, fall in enjoy with people and ordinary moments, and keep my own way of observing the world. This is only the starting. And it belongs to me.
